Our live events are suspended for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis. However, we are developing on-line sessions where possible; watch this space for updates. We are working though each event to denote its status.
We are continually developing our programme, seeking to provide sessions covering a variety of subjects by speakers who enjoy working with an audience that can be relied upon to ask many questions. Please use the comment form to let us know if you would like to lead a session for us.

What is Engineering Education and does it work?
May 17th 2021 @ 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Dr Rebecca Broadbent, Teaching Fellow, College of Engineering and Physical Science, Aston University
Engineers have the power to shape the world and improve people’s lives, however engineering firms continue to warn of a shortage of engineers that poses a threat to business. With many professional bodies and independent organisations setting up engineering education strategies, have we taken enough time to monitor the engineering education landscape and find out what is effective? This talk will ask you to consider your personal definition of engineering and how your articulation of engineering may impact the aspirations of future generations.
